Benefits  of Green Tea

green-teaGreen tea contains a chemical that the body can use for burning fat, thus ridding the body of unwanted toxic chemicals and metals trapped in fat cell. That chemical, a polyphenol, is stored inside tea leaves and it rapidly releases into your blood during digestion. It may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer and it also has powerful antioxidant properties.

The drinking of green tea sets in motion the process known as thermogenesis, which involves the creation of heat and energy. You only have three other ways of creating this thermogenic response in your body. The first one is through absorption of various macronutrients. The second one is with the help of exercise, and the third one is trough a Buddhist Meditation called Tumo, where you learn how to generate heat in your body.

Because thermogenesis is a fat-burning process, it forces the body to make an expenditure of calories. Not every tea or herb can promote such a fat-burning response. Not every tea drinker can hope for added caloric consumption. Green tea encourages thermogenesis because the leaves are steamed. The steaming process allows retention of the polychenols.

When the cells get the message and launch the process of fat burning, then they know not to carry-out the production of keytones.

teaKeytones are produced when cells feel starved for energy. Someone on the Atkins diet would be expected to produce a fair number of keytones. Someone on a diet of juice and green tea should not be bothered with a body full of keytones, they are not a useful chemicals to have building-up in your body. Formation of too many keytones can be dangerous. The use of juice and green tea avoids that danger completely.

The use of a juice diet gives the digestive system a rest. The circulatory system sends blood away from the digestive system to other parts of the body. That is why the mind becomes so much clearer and the body more relaxed.

During a juice and green tea diet, the body receives a minimum of new chemicals. It can thus concentrate on metabolizing the chemicals that are already in the body. It can focus on burning fatty acids. It can concentrate its limited energy stores on the removal of body toxins. The person on a juice and green tea diet will have a cleansed and revitalized body.

Dead cells leave the body in larger numbers. Those dead cells need to be replaced. Replacement of those dead cells requires assembly of new protein molecules. That assembly becomes aided by the nutrients in the ingested juice.

In addition, the body cells cease to spend time storing all of the excess fat entering the body. The body is not getting a lot of unneeded fat just the minimum necessary. The body cells can better carry-out the process of cell-building. The body loses old, dead cells and rapidly gets new, stronger and healthier cells.

While the chemicals in the juice and green tea clean and rebuild the body, they also supply the body with valuable micro-nutrients. Those nutrients permit the completion in the body’s cells of metabolic pathways that had earlier remained “dormant.” The re-vitalization of those pathways supplies the cells with energizing new chemicals.
